the Chairperson of the Board of Governors of the Octavia Waight Centre
- a home for the elderly, we welcome you to visit this site and to
become informed of the work we are doing under the umbrella
organization of HelpAge Belize, and we ask for your kind assistance

Therapy Unit was established to assist elderly persons, victims of
stroke, accidents etc… with physical therapy. Volunteer, Dorothy Roth,
SRN, is responsible for the management of the Therapy Unit which also
provides home visitations for elderly persons in need of this service. Community members of the twin towns of San Ignacio and Santa Elena and surrounding villages, continuously visit the home to cheer up our residents, fellowship with them and to renew acquaintances, for which we are grateful. In likewise manner, if you are visiting our area, we ask you to drop in and see what we are doing. Welcome to our website! |
